 BILL LEE, DDS

A graduate of UT Knoxville with a degree with honors in Biology, Dr. Bill Lee received his DDS from the UT Center for Health Sciences in Memphis in 1981. For over 38 years, he and his wife, Dr. Linda Barton, have been providing dental services for the people of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and the surrounding towns in Anderson County. Dr. Lee is a native of Oak Ridge and has volunteered in area dental clinics since 1982.

Dr. Lee has been married to Dr. Barton, DDS, for over thirty years and they have three children, Jeffrey, Angela, & Jennifer as well as two granddaughters, Clara and Ellie.

Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his family and learning about the advances in technology related to dentistry.

LINDA BARTON, DDS

Dr. Linda Barton, DDS, has been in private practice with her husband, Dr. Bill Lee, DDS, for over thirty years. A graduate with honors from UT Knoxville, Dr. Barton completed her professional training and received her DDS from the UT Center for Health Sciences in Memphis in 1981.

Dr. Barton is a member of:

  • Manhattan Study Club
  • Second District Dental Society

Dr. Barton has been married to Dr. Lee for over 30 years and they have three children, Jeffrey, Angela, & Jennifer as well as two granddaughters, Clara and Ellie.

Dr. Barton enjoys her family and the best dog ever.

Like Dr. Lee, she enjoys having so many great patients. They also enjoy going to and taking continuing education through multiple sources such as the Panky Institute, the Dawson Institute, the Spear Institute and especially Rick Barnes and Progressive Orthodontic training.

Dr. Barton and Dr. Lee have actively incorporated new technology such as Carbon Dioxide & Biolase Lasers, digital scanning instead of impressions, the wand surge computer aided anesthesia, Tech scan bite analysis, digital shade guide, ORAL ID cancer detection using fluorescence technology, Clear Aligner, conventional Orthodontics, digital radiography and a voice activated probe for gum disease.

HEIDI BLAIR – DENTAL HYGIENIST, RDH

Heidi moved to East Tennessee in 1980 with training as a Dental Assistant from the San Diego College for Medical and Dental Assistants. She started working with Doctors Lee and Barton in 1992 after graduating from Roane State Community College. She holds an Associates degree in Applied Science in Radiology and is a certified Hygienist.

She has received training in:

  • Administration and Monitoring of Nitrous Oxide
  • OSHA
  • CPR
  • Chemical Dependency

Heidi has two daughters, Cheryl and Chrystie, both UT graduates, and when not working she loves spoiling her 6 grandchildren.

MELISSA PYATT – RDH

After practicing as a Dental Assistant for seven years, Melissa enhanced her training and completed the Associates of Applied Science degree program in Dental Hygiene from Roane State Community College in 2006. She has been an RDH for Lee & Barton, DDS since 2012. She prides herself in taking “thorough, gentle, and individual care of her patients.”

In addition to her course work, Melissa holds certifications in:

  • Nitrous Oxide Monitoring
  • Administration of Local Anesthesia

She has also completed continuing education courses in:

  • OSHA
  • CPR
  • Chemical Dependency

When not at work, Melissa finds great reward in spending time with her husband Jeremy and keeping up with their three boys: Mason, Evan, and Isaac as they participate in various church and sports activities.

Melissa believes that a quality hygienist should have a “professional, yet personal touch,” and she strives to treat patients like family.

LETICIA MABERRY- RDA

Leticia is a Registered Dental Assistant and has been with Doctors Lee and Barton since 2001.

Leticia has received training and certification in:

  • Dental Radiology
  • Sealant Technique
  • Nitrous Oxide Monitoring
  • Orthodontic Assistant with P.O.S.
  • Splint Fabrication

Leticia is a mother of two adult children, Tabitha and Joshua. She volunteers at the Anderson County Dental Clinic and enjoys running, walking and hiking when she is not at work.

LISA MORTL – RDA, OSHA COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Lisa received her degree from Tennessee Technology Center in 2004 and has over ten years of experience working with Drs. Lee and Barton.

She is certified in:

  • Nitrous Oxide Administration
  • Coronal Polishing
  • Radiology
  • OSHA Compliance

Lisa participates in annual training for:

  • OSHA Compliance
  • CPR
  • Chemical Dependence

Lisa and her husband have two sons, Christian and Stefan. As a family, they enjoy hiking, boating and sports. When not working, Lisa volunteers at the Anderson County Health Department and mentors area dental students.

PENNY CLEVENGER – FINANCIAL COORDINATOR, RDA

Penny has her certification in Dental Assisting from Tennessee Technology Center of Knoxville. She has been in dentistry for 30 years and with Lee and Barton DDS since 2017.

She is certified in:

  • OSHA
  • Chemical Dependency
  • CPR

    Penny and her husband Daniel enjoy camping, boating and hiking. They also enjoy spending time with their grandsons.

    MARY ANN MCCLURE – SCHEDULING COORDINATOR, RDA

    Mary Ann holds a degree in Dental Assistance from Anderson County Dental, has been in dentistry since 1993 and with Lee and Barton DDS since 2010. She is a Dental Assistant as well as a Scheduling Coordinator.

    Mary Ann has also completed training in:

    • CPR

    Mary Ann is married, has a Frenchie named Sassy, King Charles Cavalier named Jasper and 2 cats. When not working, she and her husband enjoy spending time with grandkids and working in the yard.

    TABITHA MABERRY

    Tabitha, a new member of the team, is currently a practical Dental Assistant with Drs. Lee and Barton. She’ll be getting her registration as an assistant this May, and her ultimate goal is to be a Registered Dental Hygienist.

    Her favorite person is Jesus. They enjoy biking, rock climbing, and hiking together. She is also involved in church activities and loves her fur baby, Lalli.

    I love helping people and making them smile. There’s something about smiling that goes beyond aesthetic reasons. The fact that I can be a part of making people feel more confident about their smile and their health brings me incredible joy.
