Your enjoyable dental experience depends on your comfort and safety. Drs. Lee and Barton and their team utilize the latest technological advances in dental equipment and techniques to ensure your satisfaction with your visit and your continued excellent health.

STA – Single Tooth Anesthetic

Computer aided numbing system that allows our dentists to comfortably and precisely anesthetize a single tooth which sometimes avoids the “fat lip” feeling and makes the procedure painless.

T Scan – TEK Scan Bite Evaluation Innovation

The T scan allows our dentists to numerically evaluate the bite forces in all phases of a bite or chewing cycle. It is accomplished by simply biting into a soft plastic “mouth shaped” form that has sensors. The resulting data can be immediately viewed and analyzed.

Florida Probe

The Florida probe is a data collection used by the dental hygienist to graphically demonstrate the tissues and bone surrounding the teeth and to save the information in a chart form. This can be viewed by our hygienist, dentist, and patients to help gain a thorough knowledge of the health of the oral tissues.

The laser is one of the most exciting innovations in dentistry. Lasers provide a safe, gentle treatment that augments many dental procedures. The laser is an especially valuable tool in the treatment of soft tissues, oral irritation, cosmetic procedures, bone, and certain small cavities. Please ask our team about specific uses of the laser technology.

Itero Scanner

The scanner is a technology that utilizes photographs to replace impressions. Scanners are utilized to take images for crowns, bridges, partial dentures, and orthodontic treatment.

Electric Handpieces

The electric handpieces allow for a quieter and smoother experience while preparing teeth. They also have a much brighter illumination system which provides our dentists to complete the treatment in a more thorough, safe, and comfortable manner.

Oral ID

It is a cancer screening device that uses fluorescence technology to aid in the detection of oral soft tissue abnormalities.

Is a decay detection device that utilizes transillumination technology to augment x-ray examinations without additional radiation.

Digital radiography is a technological advancement that results in less exposure to radiation for our patients and an almost instantaneous picture for our dentists. Unlike traditional, film-based x-rays, digital x-rays often show more detail and can be archived in our system for future reference and comparison. You will appreciate a more comfortable visit with less waiting and quicker treatment.

An intraoral camera lets you see inside your mouth during both treatment planning and dental procedures. Our intraoral camera displays your teeth on a video screen, allowing Drs. Lee and Barton to walk you through your proposed treatment. The use of this camera allows us to work with you as a team to meet your dental care goals. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and discuss your treatment options with you. We want you to picture how your appearance will improve with dental care, giving you all the more reason to smile.

Digital photography gives Drs. Lee and Barton instant images to use for cosmetic imaging or to keep on file to track your progress. Digital images can be saved electronically and are more efficient than traditional photographs that show less detail and must be taken off-site for development.
